The Story of Gems

I have Tunisian roots, and I've spent summers there my whole life. The souks of Tunis are one of my favourite places in the world, the smell of jasmine, the hectic mornings and slow afternoons, the quiet of a silversmith's workshop tucked between bigger shops.

That's where it began.

One year ago, while wandering through the medina, I stepped into a small workshop and met a silversmith whose work stopped me. I've loved jewellery and fashion for as long as I can remember. That's why I got so caught up in those workshop shelves — heaps of beautiful silver rings, each one with its own story.

We talked for hours, about silver, about the stones they chose, about the slow patience of the craft. I left with my first collection of rings, and we've been in contact ever since. He is the maker of every Gems by Sandra ring.

Each piece is one of one. The stones are chosen not only for their beauty, but for the energy they carry. Each ring is made slowly, with love, and brought home to you.

When you wear one, I hope you feel it. That you're carrying something no one else has. That somewhere on a sun-warmed Mediterranean coast, this was made just for you.
